Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actor, musician and playback vocalist on Tamil films as well as Malayalam film. Annayum's Rasoolum has marked her Malayalam as well as Tamil acting debuts. Andrea is Kalyani in the film which is a remake of James Siegel's novel Derailed. Her husband takes part in an affair and is blackmailed by her husband. Andrea was approached following Simran Shobana and Tabu. The film was first released in 2010. The film was released in August 2011. Venkat Prabhu made his debut with the multi-starrer Mankatha. She was asked to fill a smaller supporting role. Annayum Rasoolum, a romantic film made by Rajeeev Rath that was released in 2013, was her Malayalam debut.
